Small Steps Giant Leaps

Do you want to know how small changes can make a stark difference? Or rather how doing things slightly differently can be the difference between good looks and pain? Look no further than the shaving blade!

You move it in one direction and it gives you a nice clean shave. You move it in the perpendicular direction and it cuts you! So simple and yet so profound.

The effects of small changes are extreme in certain cases. Small changes in cooking. Some of my patients have pointed out how 'healthy' food has become a lot more tasty and their day to day life has taken a change for the better.

Small changes to routine can make a difference. A mother who was always angry and yelling at her kids when she went back from home made a small change to her routine. She stopped near a park on the way home, took a 10 minute walk and then continued home. The change was profound. She wasn't carrying work home anymore and with it, the stress also got off at the park.

Waking up 10 minutes earlier. Yes, that is so difficult, but once you do it, the effects are profound. Waking up 10 minutes earlier has led multitudes of people to do their morning routines in a less rushed fashion. The stomach does its business in peace and the effects are 'lightening' to say the least.

Like Armstrong said, "Small step of man, a giant leap for mankind."

Oh, like most things, the smallest changes can take the maximum effort to make it work too. But then, who said it was easy? But definitely worth it! It was for Armstrong, I'm sure.
